I believe in God, Faith, Love, and the Human Spirit. Those are things to believe in,
not global warming or climate change. Those things are just theories being
pushed on the populations but controlling leaders and people who lack the first
four things I mentioned.


I said I wasn't going to post on this thread so I guess I lied to myself.
Shouldn't we be more concerned with the amount of chemicals in our
water, the pollution in our air, or the fact that 50% of kids have some type
of asthma? Why can't people see that global warming/climate change is
nothing more than a distraction and fad? Very sad.

cap and trade is a man made tax on the populations of the world.

The present administration is COUNTING on the tax from this to cover their spending they are doing now.

WAKE UP and smell the scam.

Guess it depends on actually reading it, for starters. Its not that hard.

I think there still would be extinction of animals even with out humans. When one preditor learns a skill to hunt a certain prey. They will get so good at it that they will increase in numbers and wipe them out.. Then they will go extinct or ajust to hunting a different kind of prey..

That is just one example..

I used to tilt pretty hard at windmills myself, so I empathize with and admire you.
I'm glad people like you are out there.

Personally, I suspect it will take more than a few politicians, global luncheons and well-intended petitions to make a drastic impact for change. If mankind is true to form, it will take one of two things:

1. Some serious, serious profit to be made. Repeat, ad nauseum.
2. Upheaval, then a dark age, then a Renaissance... repeat, ad nauseum.

One or the other. Logic itself as a force for change rarely holds sway with the mob, you know?

I do not hold with global warming at all, I think it's a way for scientists to just get ahold of more research money.

You are both a breath of fresh air. Thanks for the info. Fortunately we now have a party in power that actually cares about the world and doesn't spread a bunch of lies to keep the money coming in. A lot of people don't really care. After all they will be dead and feeding the grass before anything gets real bad. So it's easier to just deny. After all only God can actually change anything. We're just along for the ride. The new admin believes in Science vs fiction too. Things are getting better.
