Scab on Chicks Eye? Possible Peck Injury?

Okay! I will try to post some more updated pictures tonight! I do have triple antibiotic and Neosporin but Im not sure how well that will help considering how the Vetericyn seems worsen the gunk. Thanks so much. Will try to keep everyone posted.
Because Vetricyn does not contain antibiotics like the Neosporin does.

It looks like she has shavings stuck in her eye but I promise its just crust from her eye leaking. I warm water compressed it and it looked a lot better afterwards, she was able to open it a lot more. I did not remove the crust with tweezers. I just really feel like that will do more damage than good. I am going to just warm water compress her eye twice a day, I feel like all the "extra" stuff may just be irritating her eye more? Will give it three days and if no improvement will use tweezers and triple antibiotics as suggested. I just am really worried about permanently damaging her eye trying to pull the junk out and as of now she acts like she can still see out of it.

Thank you for the photo:)
Do you have someone that can help you? If not, then wrap her in a small towel or even a wash cloth, this way she's not flapping around. She's so small, it would be best if you set up at some place like the kitchen table. Put a layer of paper towels or an old towel down. Lay your chick on that. Flush the eye with saline, you can use a warm compress too. I would not use tweezers either - but use a qtip and begin working that crust and pus out of the eye. Flush generously and get the eye open. Look for any debris or more pus. Remove anything you see. Once the eye is flushed and cleared of pus, dab just a little dot of Neosporin in the eye. Do this atleast 2 times a day. See if that clears it up.

Also in the photo - is does her ear have pus or gunk in it?

Its just her ear. It is super noticeable with the feathers being damp from the treatment of her eye and I think shes missing some feathers in that area as wel. The ear seems to be fine though. I did not treat her eye last night besides a warm water compress and it looks WAY better this morning. All the junk in the corners of her eyes has fallen off and she was able to open most of her eye! I think mother nature has finally kicked in to help the little gal. I appreciated everyone suggestions and help. Thanks so much! :love

Good plan, IMO.
Sometimes treatments can cause more problems than they solve.

I think so too! I did nothing besides soften up the goo last night and she has significantly improved. Maybe the Saline was irritating her eye :hmm even though is hypothetically shouldn't.. but every case is different lol I am just happy that she is improving
