take an old toothbrush and gently scrub the scales with vinegar and then massage coconut oil onto their legs to smother the mites daily until they are healed. That's how I treat my chickens, at least. I'm sure there is a lot of other ways. You also want to take out all the bedding and clean out the coop, maybe sprinkling some DE around as well. If you think you can run electricity safely down at the coop, I can't think of a reason why not to, jut don't have the fan blowing directly on them. As for the electrolytes, if you think your chicken needs some, you can easily make it at home. Here is a recipe that I use in case you want it:

Absolutely NOT! Not only is it toxic, a petroleum product, but it burns like the dickens on open wounds, which is precisely what mite bites are... OPEN WOUNDS.
