It looks like we may finally have some new feathers creeping in. Her eyelids still haven't moved down any though.
She has spent a few evenings running around with the big ducks now. The first couple ended in her getting "stuck" under the deck I'm building, and me having to rescue her. The third evening, however, all the other ducks came back into the pen at dusk, and when I went to find her, she ran from me and hopped in the creek! She then proceeded to swim over a quarter of a mile, and refused to get out no matter what I did. After nearly an hour and a half I guess I finally wore her out and she attempted to hide in some tall grass. I slid into the creek slowly (for the umpteenth time) and snatched her up, lol. Sooo... she might not be going out to play for a while![]()
