will a possum attack a fully grown muscovy drake? i have two muscovy drakes who roost on our porch and who i know can defend themselves fairly well, but will a possum be a threat to them?

Can very much indeed. Especially if it is large, and hungry. The way these devilz operate is they come up on an unsuspecting victim from underneath and start eating them alive from the rear. All this is at night . Maybe you should consider a dog cage to keep them safer. Raccoons attack and kill and then eat their victim. Not pretty ether.
Ounce of prevention worth way more than a pound of cure.
