Karen, shingles are a later life aftermath of having experienced chicken pox as a child. They are a miserable affliction at best and can be life threatening at worst. Take it seriously, sweetie!

There is a vaccine for Shingles, but I don't know if it is effective if taken after you've had an outbreak. Your doctor will be better able to answer that for you. S/he also should have given you something for the itch. Did they? My uncle suffers severe outbreaks from time to time. Miserable crap! Hope you find relief very soon!

Braclin, you were sooo close to them! I hope everyone is safe. And losing power?
I have to laugh because I would be taking the chicks to bed with me, LOL.

I thought tornados were in the summer? Or are they whenever?

Serrin, thanks. I am suffering like a dog, with itching like no other.

Are there any more tornados expected?

No tornadoes now we have rain and ice with snow coming in over night. I am really getting irritated by this nonsense. Time for SPRING!

KNOX CALL ME or check in I am ready to dust off the GPS

I crashed soon afterward. Gracie is in her final minutes. She's unresponsive. What a mystery.

My Hova failed me this time and will be stripped for parts-I'm setting up the other, much less used one right now for the next hatch. Most of the eggs on the outer edges were quitters and shouldn't have been. Those areas must have been cool spots. They were all growing, but didn't make it. Still have a few working on hatching in there, but I lost all the rest of Maretta's, about half of the D'Anvers. Dottie's is still alive and cheeping, though, just a slowpoke. At least one of June's is still alive. Lost all the Delawares-they just dried up, but that could have been a combination of the shell quality and the cool spots they were in on the outer edge. With so many double stacked, I couldn't really rotate their positions easily.

So sorry Cyn.
