Gesh, Cyn, looks like you are gonna be all wet for a week. Some consolation is that you will be above freezing, eh? Do you have good drainage, or does it sit around? I hate that it takes forever to drain around here.

AND 11 BELOW ZERO

I will be so happy to see spring arrive.

Well I have a very funny story to share about how my day started off.

I was snoozing hard this morning. Around 930 am I awoke from what I thought was a dream about a chick peeping. When the haze of sleepyness cleared I heard a shrill peeping from the floor beside my bed. I looked down and there stood a little Partridge Rock chick. I did a double take, but it was really there. Apparently it escaped the tub brooder before I moved the other chicks out Friday afternoon, and has remained hid and silent untill this morning. Imagine my shock. So he/she is back with its brothers and sisters and doing great!!

Amazing that the little peep stayed quiet for so long, isn't it! I would have thought it would be cheeping it's fool head off! Just never know...

I was thinking a couple nights ago that it was a good thing I am an insomniac, as it was 3 AM and one of my chicks jumped the tub, too. Silly thing. Next morning they were moved out to the garage brooder. It sure doesn't take long, does it?
