I am just staying home. Too hot and muggy to go out. It has been pretty dry and the new fireworks laws have me a bit worried. The laws have changed here and now more fireworks are allowed. A church in Grand Rapids [an hour away] just burned down last week, possibly due to fireworks.

Kathy, that Wilma knows how to stay cool! I just love seeing those pictures!

Seminolewind...it will come with a washer but I found on the rounded surface it was easier to run a bead of silicone around just for extra protection.

Virkon is good stuff...use it gal.


Happy fourth of July all. I just finalized arrangements to pick up my grandson from his other other grandparents in TN on the 15th for a week long visit. DH is excited because he has never met our grandson only talked to him on the phone. I am going to start taking naps now to rest up for his arrival because he is in constant motion. LOL

Dang it is HOT!!!!! I am now retreating to my recliner for a nap.

I know of what you speak, I have a family next door that is unlucky enough to have two sons on drugs. One in his 20's the other 30's. I hear shooting over there quite frequently. One does not have much longer to live. He is a very bad diabetic as well. Looks like a skeleton. The law knows all about this but nothing is ever done. Their father is the guinea ownner/ everything that can be had coming over on my place people. Strange they never catch them for drugs though.

They have been here for about 20 yrs. So I either get use to it or move. Don't have the money for the last. I was here first.
