Seal Fault? Genesis 1588 Hova-Bator

HI!
I've successfully used my Genesis 1588 for three years. This time, the windows were fogged up (humidity at 52%) and most of the time I would have to pressdown on the space above the temp/humidity to move enough of the foggy

moisture to see the gauge. Is the seal going bad? What to do? I need to set another clutch next week...

I have had that happen with 2 of my 6 Hova-Bators. Mine are the exact same models. Send them right back after the hatch. That’s what I’d did.

Yes, but I've probably done 12 hatches! I see you can buy the replacement parts, or juct buy a new "top". Has anyone done that?
 
Since it's still running with 2 goose eggs in it, I just took a look. I think it's the seal around the glass window. Could I just remove the window, clear both sides, and use silicon to re-caulk/re-stick it?
