I have two white sebastopols that are a little over a month old...when do they start getting curly breast feathers. They look like they are getting curly ones on the back and wings, but their breasts still look normal? Is there a chance I would have both smooth breasted?
If they have feathers sticking up around their shoulders they should be curly. The smooth breasted babies shoulder feathers at that age are lying flat against the shoulders. You sure could post some pictures. The lavender baby above the turkey is a curly baby if that helps you some to.
