Lavender to black will give all black split to lav (meaning that they carry a hidden copy of the gene. Breed these F1s back to lavender and the F2s will be 50% lavender 50% black split to lav. Breed together and only 25% will be lavender.

Just a quick mention that I am going to be listing some lavenders in the next few weeks. I am going to sell as much as I can before the weather grows too hot to ship here in Texas. We are 85 today! Not that we will stay there but it won't be long.

Just wondering what are the showable colors of Silkies? I show rabbits and I know Chickens are a completely entire different thing, I think a Chicken Show would be interesting.

White, black, blue, buff, partridge, gray, splash, self blue (LAVENDER)....all the other varieties you see showing are AOV and not recognized yet. I think I got them all.
