I am new to selling eggs. I feed my flock both chickens and ducks, soy free organic feed and they also free range. The feed is about $140.00 a month. I’m allergic to soy. Any idea how much I should sell both type of eggs for?

It all depends upon what the local market will pay. Here in West Central NJ roadside stands get between $2.50 and $5/dozen. The higher end eggs being organic.

Thank you. I’m in NH. I just looked on Craigslist and one person is selling organic, not soy free, duck eggs at $8 a dozen. Wowsers. I couldn’t sell them for that much, I wouldn’t feel right.

Hatching eggs go for more than eating eggs. Don't feel guilty taking money for eggs. There is a lot of work involved building coops, raising them to laying age. Plus feed, care etc. It is hard to break even, let alone make a profit.

10 dollars a dozen sounds normal for my area when it comes to duck eggs now.
Please make sure to look into your city's regulations before selling any eggs. Some areas are much more strict with their rules when it comes to selling them.
