It all depends upon what the local market will pay. Here in West Central NJ roadside stands get between $2.50 and $5/dozen. The higher end eggs being organic.
I am in Texas and when I had ducks I sold the eggs for$10 a dozen I had a steady customer would take all I hadThank you. I’m in NH. I just looked on Craigslist and one person is selling organic, not soy free, duck eggs at $8 a dozen. Wowsers. I couldn’t sell them for that much, I wouldn’t feel right.
Hatching eggs go for more than eating eggs. Don't feel guilty taking money for eggs. There is a lot of work involved building coops, raising them to laying age. Plus feed, care etc. It is hard to break even, let alone make a profit.Thank you. I’m in NH. I just looked on Craigslist and one person is selling organic, not soy free, duck eggs at $8 a dozen.
