    Whee...what a busy 2 weeks! Working on another 8x4 pen for "teenager" chicks....with that said [​IMG]....
    I have 41 eggs in the incubator. 35 Olive Eggers, 5 Barred Rock, and 1 Splash Copper Maran. The Barred Rock and SCMaran eggs are from young hens that just started laying this summer, so they are kind of a test run. The roosters in both these pens are also young, so I'm not overly optimistic with them....but I had to give them a try. [​IMG]
    They will be Day 7 tomorrow, and I'll probably candle them Monday or Tuesday...if I can wait that long.
    Looking forward to seeing some more new chick pictures!

    You can... BUT if you are having trouble maintaining humidity, I wouldn't do it. IF you can get humidity right back up, and you really, really need to check something, then do it. Quickly! Otherwise, I'd leave them alone. Just my 2 cents.
