September Hatch-a-long!

Pics
well I was going to give the broody some meal worms out there as she has not been off the nest in 2 days for than more than 5-10 minutes, but the look she gave me decided to run for my life and came in and stared through the window of lock down incubator instead for a bit, but think they got tired from all the rocking they did in there not to much going on at end of day 19 other than their was a weird humidity spike with no external or internal humidity changes jumped from 30% to 60% then came back down on it's own

I don't know how long but I opened the lid and let some out when it got high.

A few hours after posting earlier, I decided to open to open for around 10 seconds three times. I got it around 64% for a while then it bounced back up to around 80%. I think the heavy rain earlier caused the bouncing. Thank you, mother nature, for being so bipolar here in Florida.:plbb it's hanging around 74% for right now. I'm aiming for between 60% and 70%, so i want to bring it down a little, I'll wait a few hours before I do anything about it. I hope mother nature decides to be nice to me for the next few days.

On a side note, I can not believe that these quail chicks will pile up in a corner and I have to move them over to the heat plate for bed
Lol same with my now 3 week old seramas ! The worst part is they are now upgraded to a bigger outdoor coop/brooder... I check on them at sunset. They start crying when they see me, and dont stop crying till I've put each of them under the heat plate, silly tiny gooses!
Day 18, one has rocked twice already.... I wish I had a broody to scare me off the incubator lid lol....

No changes yet. I got the humidity where I want it. I've started to play some chick noises from YouTube, this has worked for me in the past to get them rockin' and rollin' and peeping, so hopefully that gets their little butts in gear! :jumpy I've already cleaned the kitchen and I'm currently hanging out with my bearded dragon, Mushu. I'm kinda known as an animal lover, expecially the sorta weird ones. Chickens, ducks and rabbits being on the more normal end of weird, and my two bearded dragons further on the other end. Mushu is here to distract me away from the 'bater and it's working.... for now.:lau
Here's my distraction, Mushu!
