well it's a fact of life, when we had a big wild fire near us, I had feed and cages ready if needed to move my flock out with us wasn't leaving them behind but I'm not a commercial outfit either, Shame on them for not having a emergency plan for getting those poor birds out of there when they had ample time to do it, but to many commercial don't care they will just up the prices to cover their losses while their insurance will pay for them so they don't care about their animalsI know that this thread is supposed to be about hatching, but many chickens are drowning in the hurricane Florence area.
1.7 million chickens drown as NC rivers swollen by Florence, and it's not over yet! All of that rain on the hill and mountain tops will still be making it's way downhill still!

The next few days are going to be long, especially when the pips come. The few Marans eggs were hard to see any movement, but I definitely have been seeing development. 26 eggs are in lockdown. Wish me luck!
