He is a deep redView attachment 1525258 being hatched by me he is a mix.... probably part wellsummer by the coloring and Big....I am still undecided on his Big comb as to weather I like it or not.i have several up and coming Nn roosView attachment 1525262this boy is a spring hatch I think he is out of my unknown white roo View attachment 1525264 I don't know where this ne got his blue feet? He is from late April or may? A little ski dish but ok

I like the big single combs, and that is what I am working with in my flock.

I had another NN chick from a tan egg hatch out a couple of hours ago. I think it's going to have a bowtie instead of a bib, and it look's like it will be a blue color.

My daughter has also fallen for the turkens so we will be hatching quite a few.... I hope to get some close enough to sop to do ok at the local fair. Oh and I can't help myself I will continue with the crossing and work twords a green egg laying Nn. I have one and she is a good looking girl!

That's why I bred my CCLB hens to my White NN roo was to get green eggs, because I didn't want to use an Easter Egger.

I have a few hatchery ameraucana and 2 Whiting true blue, and of course a few Ee I have hatched over the last few years. Yeah I like lots of color in my flock.... even a few cuckoo mayans cross. I plan to focus on the Nn but take them in several different directions.
Oh I just found a gal somewhat close that has ccl.... yup dh already knows that means a road trip

:woot ok been in lockdown since Tuesday and my eggs started rocking and rolling last night! I timed it so my grandson could be here for his first hatch wish me luck no sleep for me the next few days:th my temps ran just a tad high this time so might have an early hatch pics will follow and I hope my 2 double Yolkers will make it they were good at lockdown

Morning all! We are going to go ahead and join y'all for the September Hatchalong. My daughter and I decided our flock of 5 was needing some excitement, and we are ready to do a homeschool unit on embryo development, so we ordered a small batch of eggs (Fun and Funky from MyPetChicken) and they should arrive Friday- tomorrow! We haven't hatched in about a year I think. We have a little Brinsea Mini Eco, which satisfies our chicken craving just enough :) Our flock is mixed and we love weird chickens, so I am anxious to see what kind of wacky chicks hatch out!

If eggs arrive as planned, we will maybe set them on Sunday!

I moved my sep eggs over to the brinsea after my last turkey hatch was completed. I got one little black one out of 2 eggs and it was sticky.? Mmm that was weird Cruz I ran with No water in my styrofoam bator?? So we have 28 eggs happily incubating, of course I did a quick candle as I moved them and saw veins in almost everything! Some were too dark to tell

Here are my littles.
The one with the bug eye is by itself.
I think mostly because it can't see that the other two wander off. And not because it's being excluded. All three are eating.
Super nervous about putting them in with my 4 week old EEs there's 4 of them but they look like monsters compared to the littles.
