September Hatch-a-long!

Pics
So.... my 55 flowery egg is much rounder than the rest... I widened the hole to see her beak, she is moving like crazy and cheeping, but hasnt worked the hole any bigger, shes at 26 hours.
For a larger egg is this normal?
Should I help her zip? I cant tell if shes struggling to move around to zip, her beak opens and closes alot but stays in the same position?

One more! That makes 4.

had to help one , she got the shell off but couldn't break through the outer membrane, upped humidity to 70 in there by adding the wet paper towel around her but she can at least breath while she finishes up she was having trouble as hadn't actually gotten through the inner membrane while externally pipping 4 hours ago and no progress, she's back in incubator and we will see how she does was first mal positioned with 14/1714 safely out.

update, she finished and made it the rest of the way out on her own, they are all drinking as first thing I did when put em in the other one to dry off, and the dry ones are eating already

last update for me tonight will see what tomorrow brings, as not seeing any movement or cheeping but they could just be resting too as hatch day was supposed to be tomorrow

I'm not sure my broody's 2 eggs are going to hatch now, I very carefully candled them both last night (day 22) and put them back under her in exactly the same positions after. 1 egg is completely black, couldn't make out an air sac at all and the other one has a huge air sac, I'm pretty sure it's about 30-40% of the egg. What do you think their chances are now?

I have actually organised to pick up 4 x day old chicks later this afternoon anyway so at least she won't die of a broken heart:hit

If you think you should intervene then do so. What do you think? Did you read the first pist in that thread I linked for you?

Omygosh I thought it was the link to the post above it, regarding assisted hatching(which I did read, similar info), I'm fired.
I just read it.... that was exactly the article I needed, really glad that she mentions large egg hatching, thanks Igor. Ugh, I'm back at work. Before I left I helped her zip about 1/4 the way around and set her back in, humidity was 70% when I left. She was very active. Fingers crossed :(:fl:fl
