OK, so I did more research @ariri30 and came up with a boat load of information! Here's a list of chickens that could have tinted eggs. Most are a light pink tint on brown or cream eggs and I think that has something to do with the bloom. Some have some kind of connection to Araucanas and Ameraucanas. All listed chickens have been on at least one website saying they are 'tinted', meaning pink, blue and green. One might even have a purple tint! I have no clue how accurate my Web search have been, so some of this could be completely false, so don't shoot the messenger! I've definitely found some chickens I might want to get one day!
The P might be phoenix.

The green ones say NC right? Maybe the first letter on both the green and blue ones are a color/variety? And the second letter is the breed?
Congrats they are beautiful
Thank you. I think you are right. I can text the lady that I got them from but she was so weird but nice at the same time. Very strange. I will text her in the future and ask her I felt bad because she was just diagnosed with skin cancer. Maybe that’s why she was acting so strange. But I got my eggs. I’m just praying she’s going to be ok.I had similar thoughts - like maybe WC stands for Wheaten Cross, meaning a Wheaten color Ameraucana crossed with something?
Anyone else just sitting around waiting for eggs to hatch? Day 21 here!
We’ve attempted to stay busy all day but now there’s nothing to do but wait... and wait... and wait!![]()
