Serama crossed with Japanese Bantam

Oooh. I'd love to go! LOVE Thai food!
I have a pair of Ameraucana bantams that lay bright blue eggs, they are very cool. I have the hen in with the Seramas, and I dont use the eggs. I have her as a broody. If you ever want some Ameraucana or Serama/Cana cross chicks that lay colored eggs, Ill send you some for free if you pay the shipping...We just eat them or leave them in there for the hen to sit on.

Wow, BluegrassBantams, that is so kind of you! I will certainly keep it in mind if I manage to get set up for chickens. It looks like I may need to apply for a permit in this city. Btw, I am curious to know whether your Araucana bantams are much bigger than the Seramas, and whether the crosses produce coloured eggs. That sounds fascinating. I will be doing a lot of daydreaming now...

The hen is a little bigger than my biggest Serama roo..(C class). He is also slimmer than she is. The Ameraucana roo is quite a bit bigger than the Seramas. Ill get you some pics of them and the cool blue eggs!

I'll let you know when the crosses for broodies start to lay! Im sure the eggs will be blue or maybe green with genetics and all.

I would love to be the one to get you started on the addiction!
Get you those pics soon, if we dont get too many spring showers!

PS-for the record my birds originated from the old Serama Kings!

Oh my, that is too exciting! And I don't even have a coop built yet (or my chicken permit for that matter...) In any case, I would love to see pictures of your chickens and eggs. I'm sure they are very beautiful. As for addiction - what addiction? Isn't it perfectly normal to spend hours every day reading about chickens, chicken coops, incubators and salivating over pictures of other people's poultry?....

I always felt like Seramas are sort of Bantam version of the Chabo lol I know its not but it seems like it sometimes. Also All my birds are from JS he got me hooked on these birds... We are some of the first in British Columbia to have Schexnayder Seramas!

You just opened a can of worms.

Most of "quality" or "show quality" or "Malaysian" Seramas in US are mixed with either Japs, or OEG's.

Lot of scams going with Seramas that why leading poultry breeders in US will not touch this Landrace with 20 foot pole.
What does the abreviation OEG'S stand for
