set eggs july 17, hatch aug 7 2022? - Hatch Along

I candled this morning-all 7 were moving like jumping beans! Day 15-here are a couple photos (not the best I had an 8 year old helper). The dark/blue line was the mark I put on them so I knew which ones were the original eggs

Found this little one on the bottom of the coop floor. Must have gotten pushed out when another hen was laying. I tried moving the broody once and she went right back to her original nest. :hit

It is the way of farm life though unfortunately. I know many small backyard farmers that wouldnt be out there every couple hours making sure she has water and food like I am. I am doing my best. Still sad.

Looks so close to being ready, day 21 is Sunday, looks a lot closer but I don't really know.

aw I am so sorry for this little one!

The eggs being so porous is having an effect on the eggs developing. Its what you get when you get eggs up from a small animal auction.
But it's amazing how some are resilient even the cracked eggs are hanging in there.

Well had clear eggs and eggs stop developing. So far the cracked eggs are holding on but have consolidated down to one incubator after culling the before mentioned eggs.
aw no! so sorry to hear this. hope those cracked ones keep holding on. I had a cracked egg make it to hatch before- so I have hope for you!
