Yayyyy!
Put it back in the bator & leave it alone until day 10.That is cool! I have been so obsessed with keeping temps exact and making sure the humidity is good that I have even been getting up in the middle of the night to check them.
Here are some pics I took of my eggs tonight

What do you think?
Okay, I will leave them alone until Friday. I did notice that the air pockets were getting bigger is that good or bad this early on?Put it back in the bator & leave it alone until day 10.Very rarely are you going to see anything much before day 7 on ducks.![]()
They will gradually enlarge. Sally Sunshine has some charts in the links in her signature for air cell development. I think she even added 1 for ducks.Okay, I will leave them alone until Friday. I did notice that the air pockets were getting bigger is that good or bad this early on?
I see no bullseye & no development. If they are all the same then not fertile. I DO see the germinal disc (little white dot) in the bottom pic, but there's no blastoderm (bullseye) around it. I have eggs for sale if you need some. Pekins & runners can ship today, but 2 orders ahead for calls.Okay I know I said I would leave my eggs alone, but something just kept telling me they were not fertile. So, I cracked one open this evening. Gasp!I now 99% sure they are not, but then again I am pretty new to this. However, I want to be 100% sure. Here is a pic of a duck egg that has been in the incubator for 6 days. What do you think?![]()

Thank you for offering the eggs, but I found a local buyer. With this being my first hatch and all the info I have read about shipped eggs being harder to incubate, I thought it would be a good idea to try these first. I was able to get several different types of eggs Silver Appleyard, Crested Pekin, and some mixed. We set 14 eggs yesterday around 4, so hopefully we will have some little duckies around May 11.![]()
