Setting eggs on 7/15/2011 anyone want to join me

Got home from work to find 3 chicks! omg that is triple the number of chicks I have ever hatched before! And it is only day 20. I am pretty sure I can still see movement in the other three eggs. I sure hope the hatched chicks' flopping around didn't disturb the unhatched eggs too much.

I am FINALLY on day 19 and in lockdown. I candled all the ones I had left before lock down and they all looked good. I have 4 EEs one Showgirl/banty mix and 2 Polish. Thank goodness it's my weekend!!! I'll be peering through the top FOR 3 DAYS now

I set eggs in july. They hatched this past sunday. Had a 100% hatch rate

8 of 8 of fertile eggs. 5 were my friends eggs (gamefowl), the other three were mine. One is a black sexlink pullet. 2 are Rhode Island Red over California white hens. Fat little things lol. Hope weather cools off and the hens lay again soon. They stopped due to 106 degree weather

I was pretty disappointed. I bought 8 polish eggs from someone in Kansas. 4 didn't develop at all, figure they were infertile and 1 ended up being a stinker after the second week so was pitched. I have only 2 left in the bator of those

I love polish too. BUT, I got home from work last night and the post office had left me a card stating I had something to pick up fro the same person that I bought the eggs from in Kansas!!!! I'm dying to know what it is so off to the post office this afternoon

I spent last night away so as not to bother them too much, but I got word that there are 11 so far cheepin and peepin around in there out of their shells!

gonna be another loooong day here in the coal mines
