setting eggs on Thurs. Hatch date Feb 4th-who's with me??

I showed DH one of our little embryos last nite ...

He got up this morning, walked over to the bator and said "Good morning boys and girls"

... and I was excited with THREE!! (of course I think there are more good ones in there, just the three that I saw positively)

I just candled mine. I have a bathroom with no windows so its perfect and I dont have to wait till night time lol! I have the 6 eggs. In 3 I can see the chicks, another 1 looks like its developing but I cant see the little dark blob at all, hope it didnt quit

One of my large brown eggs is really dark inside. You really cant see anything. You can see a little light through the small end of the egg, but its so dark. I have never seen that except when they are near the end of the incubation. So not sure on that one either

Then we have my daughters oegb egg that we put in a few days ago. I didnt even check that one, too early.

I just candled mine for the first time day 7 .........6 of 7 definate

this is my first time, and these are shipped eggs GIANT FRIZZLE COCHINS the 7th one may be good it was the last one I looked at and I had looked at the bulb too many times....

I want to candle the silkie eggss, but its only day 6. I think I have to wait until at least day 10 for the marans eggs. The ones I got were really dark. I guess I will just use the old sniff test. Hmmmmmm

Candled my 9 eggs. 5 definiates. 2 with small cracks, not sure if they will hatch (didn't notice the cracks when placed them in the bator), one clear one with a yolk floatn around, and one not sure yet.

When this hatch is done I'm starting another one with all aracaunas/RIR mutts.
