6 jubille orps 4 viening 1 clear 1 almost looks clear but if its growing its behind
6 WO's 4 viening 2 clear

5 split lav silkies 4 viening 1 clear:-(


so total viening is 23 14 nothing

I have left them all in. On day 10 or 12 probably Ill candle again and throw away all that are not viening... Im good with those results..My bator has been good to me for the last 4 days 100.0-100.8 and 40%.... so we'll see I pray that if I get 2 chicks per breed I get 1 of each sex

Wanna hear something sick? Im already planning my next hatch. I sold 3 of my WC polish today.. They are still with me as Im still waiting for them to lay eggs to fill an order then they are gone:-( With that, I can put away 2 breeder cages and make more room for my big brooder in the coop for the chicks....AT 6 weeks they go outside with a 250 heat light-yah no more stench haha Thats why I love Spring so much..3-4 days olds can go right into brooders in coop/garage

Whoo Hoo !!!

Hey I set a dozen of my own eggs on Tuesday... plan on candling Sat or Sunday. These are my own Silkies and Golden Laced cochins.. I have no clue if they are fertile or not. Wish me luck

So.. you have a nice bunch with veining so far.. lets hope the numbers remain. GOOD LUCK!!

cked eggs tonight. I am so excited. I set 13 welsummer eggs and 9 blue copper marans last friday morning. Tonight all eggs are veining or visible embryo's except one. It is a very dark egg and I am pretty sure it is good as well, i can see movement of something when I gently roll it. 2 or 3 are not quite as deveopled as the other but most of these are carbon copies of one another. All shipped eggs and the welsummers had 3 brken in transit, so was worried about any of them surviving. . I better get to work on a brooder of sometype. They are hard to see into, but in a dark closet with one of those super bright led lights, they light up well enough to see. I am so excited.

Those colored eggs are hard to candle .. Even my olive eggs seem to just REJECT the light .. lol.

Mine are looking promising also!
