Setting my eggs tonight (April 10) Any tips?

Yep, You'll see a little hole or crack. They will sometimes rest awhile after that. It can take 24 hrs for them to start zipping out. Some hatch faster than others.

Today is day 19... no pips, no peeps, no zips, no rockin. I know its early, but I'm scared of all the reports I've read of fully formed chicks that never hatch. A positive sign would be nice.

I also checked on my broody and her eggs do not have pips BUT i can here peeping comming from the one she booted out of the nest a week ago (I stuffed it back under there) and the other one I could hear moving around in there.

it's out now!! YAY! I checked to broody, ohhh weee look out! theres no pips but she gets all puffy now when I talk to her.

I've got two chicks out. 4 pipped ( including the one that pipped at wrong end.) and the others not much with them yet.
