I noticed I'd not mentioned my 'bator. I am using a simple little Hovabator 1602N still air. I love this thing...imagine how much more hatching I'd do if I had a nicer one!!

uhhhmmmmm I have NO CLUE lol its a large one that was given to me by some one that had a large scale farm.... uh hand me down I guess lol

I just set 7 pekin/Cayuga cross eggs for my first hatch ever from my own ducks with a sorta homemade incubator (guts of an old still air hovabator in a homemade box) at 9:15 am. Wish me luck!

Can I still join? I set 15 Salmon Faverolle's and 2 eggs from my orpington roo/columbian rock hen this morning (8/24/2012). This is my first time hatching and I am using a havobater genesis 1500 series with egg turner.

I love hatchalongs. I won't be in the same anxious mode as all others since it's kinda rude to lift up a hen 20 times a day. So I will live through you peeps, peeping in on you eggs. LOL
