Setting the week of August 22 (or so... ) Everyone join!! You know you want to!

I am using a farm innovators circulated air. I have my incubator in the laundry room and the warm and humid air I think is helping keep it so spot on with temp and humidity. They only thing I am worried about is any vibrations put out from the washer. I can't feel any in the tile floor but still wondering about that.
I read that it needs to be in a room that has well circulated air flow, and personally I wouldn't run the washer with it on it. Seems the spin cycle would jerk the eggs...

I guess if you have a counter top that doesn't touch the appliances that would be okay.

Yay, got my eggs in today! Gathered the last four eggs from my hens today and ended up setting a total of 12 eggs from my barred rock and golden sex links, not sure which one layer them but just need some egg layers so will be interesting what comes out. Let the staring begin! ;)

I have a question, what if I have one stuck to the shell (when candling) already on day 4? Veining looks great. I turn at least 5 times a day. I have the Brinsea, so I do not need to open to turn, just rotate the unit.

Does it mean this egg is ahead of schedule or right on time?

I'm using a hova bator 1588 with an auto egg turner.

Jeez I think most of us are using this baby! :) It is nice, we've had our on for a while now checking on the humdiity it stays about 50-52% normally so thats pretty good, but I took the lid off the other day, (hadn't put the eggs in yet, going to in a bit this morning - b/c they're resting after shipment) & the humidity dropped to 25% so fast lol its crazy, but it went back up really fast the second I put the lid back on.

Wow thank you so much for the candling pictures. Now I will know exactly what to look for when I try it. I am surprising the urge to try it RIGHT NOW! the urge will probably win!!

I think mines defective. Haha! humidity will not stay at 50%. it goes from 65% to 23% in a few hours. The temp changes a bit too.

My Muscovy hen is on day 26 (of 35) of setting, she is such a good mommy. It looks like she has at least a dozen eggs. I think some may hatch sooner because when I candled them before she started setting full time, I already saw veins developed...so she may have a staggered hatch.
