Well, this is it huh! The big week! I picked up another heat lamp bulb today as my last batch still needs a heat lamp, got home, promptly dropped it pulling it out of the box, and boom! Those things literally explode! Wow,....so off to pick up another one tomorrow! Getting brooder ready, turning the eggs for only 2 more days...then lockdown! Getting really excited!
At least it wasn't hanging over any babies when it kerblooied! I'm three days behind you. Still need to get my brooder ready. Just have to assemble it. Do you use the reflector type of holder for your heat lamp? All i have is a plain holder that's not as wide as the ones I've seen at tTSC. Any opinions?
Quote: You can attach it to thick sheet metal and make a safer and more ambient heat source, reduce the size of your light bulb and save some $ on electricity.
