Sewandgrow's FOURTH Annual "Friends of a Feather Flock Together" Poultry Party, Turlock CA, Sunday J

I have many containers of mealworms. Right now I have a ton of beetles. If anyone is thinking of raising mealworms it is very easy and your chickens will go nuts to get them from you. My wife calls mealworms "chicken cocaine", because the chickens can never get enough. Should anyone going to the party want to start raising them, maybe we could do a trade for hatching eggs. 100+ beetles will get you 20,000 mealworms when the eggs grow and mature into adult mealworms. Mealworms are the easiest things to grow. They are clean and the beetles can not fly, so you can raise them in anything like a plastic tote. We look forward to feeding them to our chickens about three or four times per week. Kern

We'd love to make it this year! School is out for us by then so I don't have work on the following Monday.

I'll bring a fruit salad and a green salad + dressing.

Whew! We haven't been to a BYC get together in years. I'm really looking forward to it! :)

Hi
I am hoping to come yo the party. I have fertile eggs I can bring. They are a mixture of breeds. Not sure if any one has an interest in them. I would love to get some different breeds of eggs to hatch in my incubator. Polish top hats or any others that are layers.

My wife Gayle is planning on making a couple of fresh strawberry pies. They are so good. Looks like our turnout this year may be slacking. It is only supposed to be 96 on Sunday. Come on guys let's have a fun party! Kern
