Hiya! This year we got 5 chickens from our local hatchery, vent sexed as female. Of the first two, one ended up a roo
Well, we have 3 more who are still too young to say definitively, but I'd love some opinions if you've got them!
The first is 6 weeks old, an Easter Egger ("Cornfritter"). This is bird #1.
The second is about 4 1/2ish weeks old, a Splash Wyandotte ("Perfect Pickle"). Bird #2-- Pickle has kind of a crooked beak-- either bonked it or came out of the egg wonky. We love her anyway, and it's not impeding eating at all.
The third is a Lavender Orpington, also 4 1/2ish weeks. ("Princess Kay"). Bird #3.
I can take more pictures if anyone wants a different view, and I'll be sure to keep this thread updated as they get older!
Thanks guys!
