Sexing and breeds?

Thought I'd update this thread again in case anyone was looking.

here's my barred rock that is now clearly showing he's a roo. He's been opening his mouth like he's yawning(best I can describe) I think he's getting ready to start some crowing practices.

I just listed this guy to rehome him.
I want to double check this is a boy right? Almost 8 weeks old now and such a loving bird too. I hate not being able to keep him and the other cockerels.
