For almost two weeks we've been attempting a tribal system of sorts. To be more specific, the chickens are attempting the tribal system, and I've been observing them get on with it.
I've let out Lady Gaga and his females to free range throughout the day, and night. Unlike the Tsouloufates, every single bird in the bantam group can fly high enough, and roosts well. Here is Cruella showing her roosting abilities; her daughter caught on to tree roosting almost immediately
The current plan is to move them out of their current pen completely, and give that to Big Red and his hens. The bantams will have Big Red's current pen if they wish to use it, but they will be free to roost in the trees if they prefer it. So far Lady Gaga has not wished to claim a territory of his own. He and his hens and pullets move around on Kolovos's land, I'm assuming after reaching some agreement with Kolovos, since neither male has fought after the initial introduction, of which Kolovos was who I would call the winner. The bantam group, or tribe is more closely nit. They move about in unison, and Lady Gaga is more attentive with where his hens are. I'm assuming both individual temperament and the current circumstances (being in borrowed land, and his somewhat lack of experience with ranging) play a part in that. The bantam tribe is also very prolific and sustains its numbers by itself, something that the LF tribe has yet to accomplish.
Fig and Fern are growing strong with Foureira raising them. She has yet to allow Lady Gaga to imprint on them. A week and a few days ago, Ursula hatched one chick of her own. A week before that, Cruella's daughter Ocean (not the one that is currently the tree roosting pro) had gone broody as well. They are currently co-mothering the newest addition, Ubon. Lady Gaga imprinted on Ubon almost immediately after the girls introduced him/her to the tribe. Here they are right after Lady Gaga imprinted on Ubon.
Ubon and his/her mother's have yet to join in on the ranging, but Lady Gaga makes frequent visits to the little family. The mothers refuse to leave the safety of their pen, which is the only territory Lady Gaga will be protective over, even if it's Kolovos who has entered. Foureira and her chicks are also not on free ranging ground, but that is because she hasn't let Lady Gaga imprint on Fig And Fern, as aformentioned. Foureira can't protect her chicks or herself from the ruthless LF cockerels and low-ranking hens, she's just too tiny for it, and Lady Gaga will not extend the courtesy of protecting her, like he does for his other girls.
It's all been a very interesting, and mostly pleasant thing to witness. Every day the bantam tribe becomes more confident, and I'm sure Lady Gaga will establish a territory of his own soon enough. He has already started spending more time in a particular part of the property. I'm hopeful to see what the future holds for this tribe,

Sort of although I would use prospect to describe something being hopefull (has a human aspect; while potential should be used for the ability to do work/change and doesn't involve an emotion.
