I look forward to seeing it and to seeing what you think of it.I think we can do the coop business.
Getting the new coop into the existing coop run is the main problem.
The coop run fence is fragile by design once past the stocknet on the bottom section. I don't want to disturb much if I can avoid it. I think I can cut a hole in the chicken wire above the stock net section and below the top of the fence. We can lift the coop though the hole.
I'm going to try and go to measure it up tomorrow and make sure there is enough room to turn the coop once it's in the run. Two days off sick is plenty.
I'll take the train. Mid afternoon weekdays the train is almost empty and I'll avoid the city and of course the people.
These are beautiful pictures! You're definitely not as bad a photographer as you say.Sometimes it used to get a bit hectic at home.

Are you planning to add it to the existing coop structure ? If you take the old coop down before, I suppose that means it but must all be done during the same day so the chickens can roost at night ? Do you think you would be getting some help?I'm going to try and go to measure it up tomorrow and make sure there is enough room to turn the coop once it's in the run.
Yes, take care to get enough rest. When we got COVID we thought it was over after 48 hours but in fact everytime we started up some work we got tired really quickly, and this lasted for maybe 10 days. Try not to spread it at the allotmentsJust don't over exert yourself too soon.
What a wonderful place to live! The mountain view is gorgeous.Vanille has been a bit better for the last two days, enough to roost on her human perch again.

My father called that remedy a hot toddy. Made with bourbon or moonshine. My wife knew how to make it also which shows that all cultures know a good thingI was rather going to suggest some homemade remedy implying tea, honey and a very strong alcohol for which I can't find the correct translation. It's what you make distilling grape marc
