I really like the look of the Red Sex Links. It's something about their head shape.

Thank you. I've been lurking for a few weeks. Had chickens in the early 80s and just got back into it a couple weeks ago. So much information available nowadays.

Love the video clip. Chicks learn so much from their mums.

Only just got home and I left to go to the allotments and the nearby village at 2.15pm. It's been a long day but so lovely in the sun away from the city. I fell asleep in my allotment chair for 15 minutes and didn't get eaten by the chickens.
As you can see, the new coop is now in the allotment run. I got it through the fence on my onw last night having missed the train I had planned to get and left with 40 minutes to wait for the next train. I'm quite amused because nobody knows how I managed to do it, except Henry of course who watched the entire performance from his roost. I don't think he'll give my secret away.

Henry has been crowing during the day. He's so quiet usually that it's a lovely surprise when he lets rip.

Fret got chucked out of the main dust bath for being a whinging big girls blouse.
I got a nice shot of her in another hole.

Well done! It looks like a really nice sturdy coop and it also looks like it was a lovely day there.
