To create a wannabee pop door you probably need to put the screen higher up. Or.. Roll up or cut of 4-6” of one piece for an opening. Try using a few elastic bands if you dont want to cut the screen.

The last sentence doesn’t solemnly apply to chickens. Its way more universal imho.

She and some of the other hens also have a noise to call the rooster for him to come right now, but it's a completely different sound.

I have noticed ours do it when they are going in to lay an egg. They never stop, even if I help them.
I noticed that when they do it after laying an egg, if I pick them up, cuddle them, and set them back down they stop.
