No it didn't. Actually it had enough momentum to end up at the far wall skirting board, were it passed within a minute. Now there are shards of glass on the terrace - obviously I got up all the ones I could, but there are minute slivers in nooks, crannies and plants there - that I'm hoping won't hurt any chicken that decides to test for edibility. Those inside didn't slice through skin, leather, book covers, wooden floor or anything else, so I'm thinking it must have been treated with something to make it not dangerous in such circumstances. Which would make sense for domestic windows at ground level.
