It's been a while since I posted here. I had to stop working for a while. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my left wrist made any sort of woodworking too painfull.
I'm still waitng for the operation but I've made a few items very slowly over the past couple of months.
This is a pair I made for two bedside tables for someone. They wanted something reasonably cheap and not too fancy. Both are made from strawberry tree wood withoak bases.

Sorry to hear about your wrist Shad. Chronic pain is tiring and frustrating. I'm glad it didn't stop you creating.

I am glad you are back able to work on these Shad. I hope it isn't too painful.

This what I am working on at the moment. It's a sculpture rather than a lamp.

Oooooh, nice.

Lots of "movement" in this piece. Having the base at a diagonal makes it look very dynamic.

This is called Reflection. It's white oak with strawberry tree inserts.
