Shamo from Ideal Poultry - Grow with me!

Okay so I was given a couple Shamo chicks from someone who ordered too many, this is a dream breed of mine due to their intelligence and them being well known for being so people friendly so of course I accepted. Their names are Cairo and Rameses. Rameses is for sure a boy I dunno about the other but with the way they are growing they may be a pair, I'm curious about quality and maybe with photos you can tell me more about them and see if Ideal's are worth getting.

I will follow. I like to see less popular breeds on here. There is enough Shamo in the world, but I've only seen exhibitors breed them, and there just aren't enough of the exhibitors on BYC. I'd like to see more of that. Even though these are hatchery birds, they still intrigue me.

Shamo is a type, not a breed. Are they O-Shamo, Chu-Shamo, or Ko-Shamo? Coming from a hatchery, probably none of those, more like random oriental game crossed with barnyard variety stock to increase egg production and keep the chicks from killing each other during shipping. If you like these, I would encourage you to get some from a breeder and help preserve very unique birds.
