I wanted to see what everyone else uses for button housing. I love to see creative housing.

This post also might help some housing questions.

Here is mine!

What is the size that you use for each pair of buttons..

I want to build wire cages one of these days.

Right now I just use 10 gallon fish tanks with wire lids for each pair..
I also use the rabbit water bottles for them to drink out of..

Sorry I dont have any pics right now.

I use 12" x 12" x 12" for the dimentions. I can only get hard wire cloth in 36" lengths. So, I divide it into 3 cages.

My
buttons are still in the brooder at three weeks old, but I will pair them off and they will (each) live in a tubby cage to start. Link above.

I got the 28 " long one. I'd like a larger cage but don't have the space right now or the funds.

I like the Tubbies because I can put hay, shavings or sand and that won't fly out so much as in a basic cage, yet they have air circulation and are secure.

The tubbies will work great. I can't afford tubbies, so I made my own. I used super pet cages in the begging. But, at $20.00 a wack for a pair oche....

I use plastic storage bins with screen tops now, they work just fine. But I would like to make some solid bottom wire cages soon.
