Hi all
I sew and crochet, I just learned to sew a couple years ago and fell in love with it, then I discovered chickens and fell in love with them and put my love togehter
The first few things are items I have sewed.. and the rest are store bought
We are buying the house we've been living in for the past few years and it needs a lot of work but the kitchen is going to be the first to be remodeled and yes the them is chicken/farmhouse.. however once you leave the kitchen you are in the lodge, Moose/lodge themed lol

This is a fabric I found and I was just a tad short for the door window grr, but I love this design. so I sewed up some simple curtians

This is a pot holder i made, I do not use it because the thumb is wonky

My kitchen table runner i made

and this wall doodad I made

and my store bought decor
Butter dish that actually stick for a butter dish so now it is decor lol

That canister set I found at yankee candle village here in New England.. along with the plate.

I want to see your decor, home made or not.. I am always on the hunt for more ideas since we will be updating our kitchen

My mother wanted company for a wreathe making class, so I tagged along and made this:

I also sew stuffed animals, but surprisingly I have yet to do a chicken. I may need to fix that.

I am not as crafty as you two, but I do have an amazing set of potholders my MIL crocheted me for Christmas. Best gift ever.

I would think you would do well making more, there is nothing better than handcrafted items that are so nicely done like yours.

I don't sew, but this could be a good idea for some of you that do. Plastic grocery bags are no longer recyclable, so are now ending up at the dumps. That mean's that there will be more people who will be buying those reusable ones, to help to keep the plastic bags out of the dumps. How about some chicken themed reusable bag's?
