So i was watching a show where this woman who had goats rents out their yard clearing potential to people who want to try clearing their land in a green way. For a fee she comes to a persons yard and sets up temporary shelter and pens her goats into a space. Within a short time the goats strip the brush bare. this got me to thinking would a similar idea work with chickens? I bet i could rig up a large covered pen with a secure sleeping hut that would be movable. the chickens could spend the day scratching the yard for bugs while aerating the soil and fertilizing it. the question i guess would be how long to keep the chickens there to benefit the yard/garden but not destroy it . I could even allow the home owner to keep any egg that is laid withing the time frame that they are there. What to you guys think?

I'd leave it for 2 days, by that time the grass will need a break and the bugs/etc will be gone, and fertilize laid down
