Girls up in NY....how are yall doing? I was watching the news....and just saw how much rain yall have been getting....

Sadly the others haven't even pipped and I don't hear any peeping and don't see the eggs rocking.

I'll leave them in there for today. Now I'm worried about the MFD'uccles. Hope I'll have a better hatch!

Anyway, the partridge is just the cutest little thing. Teeny-tiny. I've never seen a full blood silkie chick. I put her (I hope) in a box in the brooder with the LBCs so it can get heat but not be mobbed.

All silkies are evil. They will steal your heart. When young, they run fast. But as they get older, you can just scoop them up for frequent hugs and kisses. Not the sharpest tools in the shed tho, but makes them more loveable. I have 1 Partridge roo. This is my silkie coop

I will see how they do this afternoon. I put them in the brooder...they will be able to get their footing better than being jostled around in the box...if it continues by this afternoon I will do the bandaid thing.
