All 8 are alive so far. One looks weird but it wiggles. Day 16. Those dark spots, bacteria? Will it die?

I seen those in a couple of my eggs . I think when I cracked it open (it was a quitter) it was large sections of the blood vessels. But I could definitely be wrong.

I'll watch that one closely. Do you recall when yours quit?

If I remember correctly, it was a late quitter. However, they were mostly the first laid eggs from my cayugas. They were extra small shells and several died because they didn’t have enough room to get in the correct position. So it could be nothing special. I just remember seeing those marks in mine and wondering what they were. Pretty positive that’s what it was.

I saw something weird like that in one of mine, i think it hatched. If it was further along i would say possibly chick waste but its a little early... odd
