Them little brats are crazy fast.
Some of them got out out of their little sectioned off place while I was trying to catch them for pictures. It was about 30 seconds of pandemonium in the palace. The babies went SHRIEK! . and mama duck went AAAAKK!
And the other grown up ducks went EEEK! And I went SHEE(i)T!

if the pictures on this web site I was looking at is correct. . I am really thinking both these ducklings are going to be chocolate Bibbed!

And I wonder where the chocolate gene came from. And looking at your article. . I'm cautiously optimistic they will both be girls if they are indeed chocolate .. .I am thinking chocolate would have had to come from the dad, the blue Bibb whose mom was Lexi. Not from my original pair. .

They might be lilacs, since they look a little too light to be chocolates - lilac being chocolate but also with one blue dilution gene. Well, one looks like it might be dark enough to be chocolate, the other looks lighter. Any chance you could get some pictures of them in better lighting?

If they are lilac or chocolate, they'd have to be females, yes. You can only get male chocolates if you have a chocolate hen and a chocolate or split to chocolate drake.
