I had one for you, sorry I gave you the hangover! I'm good this morning!

Figured out which girl of mine has been giving me my daily egg. I now have a half dozen I can make breakfast for hubby this lovely morning.

That is awesome!! If I get an egg by September I'll be excited!!

Day 14 candle went well. Aircell seems slightly smaller than day 7 so...I guess we are moving at a good pace. I cant believe I am going to into lockdown again in 4 days. I cant believe my babies outside are already 2 weeks old and feathering out nicely!!!! I need to retake some pictures!

Good! I really can't wait till that one hatches!

well I'm around day 14 or 15 i think so i did some more candling - down to 22 eggs in the incubator out of 30 - and about 4 of those I'm not sure of either.
SO now I'm Hoping for 18 chicks on 31Jul/1Aug. 3 days to look down
only 1 of the aracuna left , most of the duds were from my pullets, but Ive lost 3 of the ones i brought - 1 was my fault.
the 4 I'm not happy with in there still are also brought eggs.
So now Ive 5 silkie,
1 aracuna, 3 Easter eggers,
3 Sussex from frizzle roo
2 dorking and 3 orpington.
remaining 5 are backyard mixes.

We salvage alot of wood from hubbys work locations. Every time they build a new addition, he takes the leftovers and anything they took down, he'll take too. I hate removing nails! But free is good!

Removing nails is awful, but shandy helps. I'll be a strippin' and a bangin' all weekend

Yes, free. They beg me to come and get it so they don't have to haul it off. Will be 3 full loads in an F 250

Pallets are harder, that's why I love these frames and slats from the siding company. I don't even try to strip pallets, just use a saws all and cut them off. The downside to that is ruining a skill saw blade by hitting a hidden nail. The stuff I get here is much easier to strip. I can usually get 10 boards to one summer shandy

I just need to ask around then. I will see what I can do!
