Thanks everyone. I have a little catching up to do. We were buying bunk beds...
This is so funny! And so true. I definitely have an obsessive personality, so I fit right in.
Thank you! But I was counting on you!!! No crowing yet, so I guess I'll have to wait.
#1 is mine! I wasn't supposed to have her in the eggs I ordered so she was a surprise and she's the tiniest thing, (I'm thinking girl) but HUGE personality. She's almost at the top of the pecking order!
They are hard to tell, aren't they! I was thinking all boys except #1 but a few are looking pullet-ish, so fingers crossed. Thank you for weighing in!
Goat milk is extremely nutritional, out of all animal milk it most closely resembles human milk.

I've got to be honest, Ruby. Those are much higher quality silkies than mine, and the fabulous crests and beards make them even harder to distinguish. Very nice birds, but I am totally clueless. Maybe if you get a video of one crowing I could take a guess...
Thank you! But I was counting on you!!! No crowing yet, so I guess I'll have to wait.
Ruby, they are sooo pretty. We already know I'm horrible at sexing them, so I wont even comment on that, but #1 is my fav!!

Still hard to tell, but 2 and 4 look more like cockerels... 3 looks like a pullet all the way... 7, no idea! The rest I'm leaning more towards pullets, but not sure...

This is a young cockerel, note the streamers from back of his crest...

Young pullet, note more rounded and even crest...

Thank you to all that responded to my candling question. I lost track of all the names, otherwise I would of tagged you all ♡♡
I picked up some excess goats milk for the chickens, I have read that they love it. Traded 3 jars of homemade strawberry jam for 2 gallons of goats milk & some kumbatcha scoby. I think I got a good trade.
