She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I'd isolate him too... actually, especially him... bantams tend to be more aggressive than lf or at least more vicious about it... it is bully behavior and should not be tolerated...
Leave it a few days, gotta give it time to settle straight...
I just realized that you quoted me lol, I was thinking I should probably take him out of the run. The other roo is wonderful, he loves all the hens and protects them quite well, I've never seen him bully them or even be slightly aggressive with them, he's very laid back. But the other 1 is just hateful to the hens, all of them. He wasn't like this til we lost 1 of the original 2 hens, up til then he was just as laid back and level headed as the other roo. But he loves people, more than his own kind I think, lol. He'd rather sit and stare at me or my daughter than be with the others. And he chases all the hens off when they get close to us, it's really bizarre. I've tried to let him know it's not acceptable and when I yell at him he stops but he'll do it again 5 minutes later.

Hubby and I were talking about the chicks the other evening and he actually said "I really like the black and gold ones"... My golden sebrights. I was shocked lol. He really does love the good ole golden comet girls though, because they are so sweet and friendly... He calls them his girls.
My LO cockerel has only been interested in the older silkies. I haven't seen him try anything with the girls the same age. I was planning to move the LOs tomorrow, but the silkies are staying. Now I'm wondering if that's a bad idea. The boys won't have any older girls and might start on the younger girls that aren't ready yet.... Hmmmmm... What do you think?
My husband shocked me the other day by commenting on my Welsummers. Up til then he hadn't paid much attention to them. I love Sebrights by the way, I like the Silver Sebrights though, the goldens are really pretty too but I really like the silvers.

They are soooo beautiful, I seriously LOVE these birds, lol. I've been waiting and hoping for someone with some AC's to come to the thread ;) I am sooo jealous, lol. Maybe 1 day I'll have some of my own.

You have the property, I wish I did. You're like me when I started hatching. I wanted one in every color, I swear. And I would still love multiple colors but I don't have the space or time to build separate coops/rubs for each. Some day though. We just have to be patient, I guess.

He might turn his interest onto the younger ones if there's no other options. (Like mine is).

Yeah, that's how mine is. Seems they have bad short term memories!

I really like seabrights too! Gold or silver.

any idea how they would do in Texas heat??

I'm not sure. They do well enough here in the summer but it doesn't get as hot as it would in TX, I would think. They don't seem to have any problems with the heat that I've noticed.

I was on the NY thread for a little bit. You guys are a close knit group and I couldn't keep up! Then I found home base here, when this thread started. But I remembered someone (you :) ) posting about bringing *real* AC eggs to chicken stock. I wanted to go so bad but it was over 3 hours for me. So, you're upstate then? What part? I'm in dutchess county. To be totally honest, when I first started with chickens I thought the AC were scary looking! I pictured a mean onyx black rooster in my yard! Lol. But I truly see the beauty in the pics you posted! They are stunning! Good for you on having them and being an good, honest breeder. That's an amazing breeding project you've got going there! I wish you the best of luck. Thanks for posting them!

Yep, I'm in Washington County, actually on the VT border. No problem posting them, I like letting people see them :)

For the weapon enthusiasts here I thought I'd share my good news... Got my concealed permit in the mail yesterday. I'm a pistol packin mama now
