Sorry I couldn't comment about Meyer, I've never used a hatchery, lol... all I know is what I hear...

K is doing ok... super busy and exhausted, but ok... got a lot on his plate right now, poor guy... :/

Just have high hopes but low expectations and the shipped eggs will be fine.

They might have an easy trip through USPS and you don't have to worry about altitude, so you probably have as good a shot as any! My latest sucky hatch info is at the Frog if you are interested.

I just know BYC is crazy busy with his new job, not leaving him much time for the internet. Hope we get an update from Ravyn.

It's not reliable to check after incubating, but you can try it... yolks will break really easy and sometimes the blastoderm is too degraded to tell... but it wouldn't hurt to try... they're your own eggs so your choice, lol... being as they weren't shipped though, and how good your bator is, sounds like fertility... they weren't old at all either, right?

Checked all the eggs and the ones that yolks didn't bust when I cracked them all appear just not fertile. Cracked a few more recent ones that I'm unsure about, but picked out 6 to set anyway. Added 4 comet/mutt eggs too :)

They are close enough for me to drive to, and considered it. Still might some day, but with soooo many wonderful friends with such beautiful birds, I can't imagine buying from a hatchery now. :)
