So, candled again. All still have movement, the one with the pip looks to mostly be in the air cell but still moving about. One due on the 29th hasn't internally pipped yet but still moving well, the questionable one appears to be upside down in the shell, towards the space at the small end. Still moving but very doubtful on it. Just a very odd looking egg all together. Can see the duckling but so much empty space and even a little green strip in there. I do not count on it to hatch at all. It's supposedly due tomorrow.
I gotta ask you, how do you manage to candle so close to hatch? I know you're using a homemade incubator, right? Does it have a lid on it? Do you take the eggs out? I'm just curious because I've always wanted to see an internal pip in an egg. I can candle through my incubator window because its a dome and I put the fat end of the egg up against it, but It doesn't work that good. Even when there were pips, I could make out the air cell but could not see the pips! Drove me nuts!
