She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Here are my two slate footed EE babies: gold lacing and black and gold barring. Hatched out of a RSL egg Silver lacing on the neck with barring on the wings. Hatched from a green egg. They both have the Ameraucana "eagle beak" Here is the Wheaten (with incorrect feet) at 10 weeks: Here are feather footed EEs: 10 week old pullet nice little cockerel, he's 10 weeks old. 10 week old pullet I am really happy with these backyard mixes so far, they are growing out rapidly and feathered out beautifully. The pullets look nearly ready to lay, and they still have 12-14 weeks before I expect any action from them. It looks like 2 or maybe 3 cockerels out of the bunch of 15 or so. I'll get a better look when we move them into the pullet pen Thursday night.
Very pretty birds!
I finally managed to band my 2 new 4 week-old BCM roos...and it turns out they have feathered feet...my main roo doesn't. I'd never seen feathered feet in person before, its quite cool. Yours look amazing!
Oh I have to get a pic of my smallest bantam cochins. Its leg feathers are longer than its body feathers at 2 weeks!
I have thought about getting those. I wondered how dirty they would get. I have some nipple waterers around, and I have gotten them not to drip, but the older chickens really haven't taken to them. I've read to take away all other water sources, but I just can't make that plunge. I like to know that they are drinking. No comment on Johnny Dangerously? I thought you of all people would get that one:gig
My hubby can show ya how to fix those so they don't leak. Ours never leaked. But I don't know what he did lol
Nope, its a Windows phone, so why would you expect it to be graphically astute? Now please don't misunderstand this, but I think the idea is to post a link to this thread in those other threads and recommend they come ask here...not trying to get folks here into other threads...I mean after all, what if those others threads turn out to be more entertaining, we'd have no experts left...;-] Well, I have ordered a Canon EOS Rebel T5 18MP DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm IS II Lens Kit on sale up here for Canada Day. I'm saving C$255 and it has all the features I want. So look forward to hopefully better pics of my birds after next Monday.
I also use a windows phone, Nokia. Guess its the techie thing lol. I have a couple of apps for taking multiple shots. One is Blink, and the other is Smart Shoot. I think both of them do the multiples and you can select the best shots. Makes it much easier to get action shots

I have been in the business world for nearly 40 yrs, and I have heard the term "take it to the next level" so many times it hurts. I've so many friends who have "cashed in" on their internet ideas by selling it to someone who could "take it to the next level". I am trying to do that on so many things right now, its hilarious...and the funniest thing is I am trying to go from C$10k, to C$30k...I really want to start a Kickstarter campaign, but they'd laugh..."what, you only need 20k? Are you serious?"

Oh if we could only get people to take organic food seriously...

My HTC has no mount point (so can't be put on a tripod), and has this stupid idea that you have to press half way, to focus, then the rest of the way to get the shot. So I can't imagine what it would do without that auto focus. But I appreciate the suggestions...oh, and the only reason I have this phone is cause I was researching how it could be secured...it can't!

The reason I posted their link over here is because their problems weren't quite revelant to this thread's topic, but then again, I guess neither is jabbing yourself in the eye. Haha.

Everything is relevant here.......

ha! Pretty sure that doesn't go in the 'letting it go" category. lollllll

Sorry about your eye, Amy. I know how you feel. My left eye got damaged one time and the pupil dilated and remained that way for two days! Made my sinuses run and gave me a horrible migraine as well. Time to put some safety goggles on when you go in there. lol
OMG. It set my allergies/sinuses off as well, I just thought that was coincidence. I did have a headache, but I chalked it up to the strain that it was causing on my good eye by trying to see...lol It was far from a migraine though.

Amy, I think you should get a Freddy Kruger hockey mask and go and scare the bageesus outta the one that pecked you....

But she's my favorite hen out of that bunch...lol

That's not nice!!!

Hey at this rate I might as well get something for getting pecked in the eye.
2 eyes = $40. An innocent "eye witness" to the injury should suffice in lieu of the videos.

Be careful, you might try for showgirls and end up with this...

An other selfie?

What do you call it when you start one thing, then see something else and do that, then something else...etc... That's me. I go out to cut scapes, see some weeds, then weed for a while, then I hear the chickens so I feed them, and while doing that realize the darn latch on the coop door is sticking again, so...etc... At some point I sit down for a smoke, and then it hits me..."Oh yeah, scapes!" so the process starts again.
You talking about me? All relevant, except that I quit smoking at the tender age of 5! I believe farming is the perfect occupation for someone with ADD. I can go out to feed the chickens before breakfast, and not get in for breakfast until lunch time.

that made me smile. Really big. And nearly laugh. Well, I laughed internally.

Hehe, yeah. I take a lot longer than I could when feeding my chickens. This morning I skipped breakfast because I was watching my pigeons so long

I forgot to ask you guys, what do you think about using this to try and bring humidity down in the incubator? It's days it's charcoal and carbon and it's non toxic. Found it at the $1 store.
400

It says it's moisture eliminator WITH charcoal. I don't know what the other ingredient(s) might be. Any other info on the pkg? Where was it processed? If China, I'd be careful. If US and you can find the other ingredient list, it'd be worth a shot. Have you opened the package yet? Any odor to it? Any scent?
